STB 50102-G-24 0-500kV Voltage Sensor Probe Tip, Shepherds Hook, Standard Case Detects presence of voltage or capacitance on overhead and underground cabling or on switch gear and MCC Panels Low sensitivity range and a high capability range Range selector switch is conveniently located in a protected area on the back of the meter housing Three degrees of sensitivity - capacitance and two direct line contacts Capacitance test will produce a minimum 1/3 scale deflection at 300 volts (No capacitance test point measurement for voltage ratings of 69kv or above.) Contact with the capacitance test point of a separable elbow connector carrying 25kV will also produce a 2/3 scale deflection Higher voltages can be checked when unit is placed on "Direct Line" Shielded tester reads only the contacted test point - no stray fields will be indicated Maximum operating temperature range -20°F to 140°F (-30°C to 60°C) Ready to attach to hot stick or another type of connector (i.e. universal) Proof tester included (except for units of 69kV or above)
