OPTO 22 - SNAP-SCM-485-422 _ SNAP 2-Ch RS-485/422 (2-wire or 4-wire) Serial Communication ModuleQuick Specs:
- SNAP 2-Ch RS-485/422 (2-wire or 4-wire) Serial Communication Module
Part of the SNAP PAC System, the module mounts on a SNAP PAC rack with a SNAP PAC brain or rack-mounted controller. Analog, digital, and serial I/O modules can all be on the same rack. Such an I/O unit is also well suited for PC-based control or for use as intelligent remote I/O for an Allen-Bradley MicroLogix PLC system, or other RSLogix-based system, such as ControlLogix or CompactLogix.
NOTE: The SNAP-SCM-485-422 is also compatible with SNAP Ethernet, SNAP Simple, and SNAP Ultimate brains.
For similar serial communication using RS-232, see SNAP-SCM-232.
Build your system in the SNAP I/O Configurator.

* Module performance is limited by the number of serial modules on the SNAP rack. Each rack backplane provides approximately 2.5 Mbps of bandwidth. ** Maximum number of modules per rack assumes a 4A power supply (i.e. SNAP-PS5). |
