When added to a  groov  EPIC^® processor (GRV-EPIC-PR1 or GRV-EPIC-PR2), or groov RIO MM2 (GRV-R7-MM2001-10) this license enables you to fully use Ignition Edge^® version 8 on your device. 

Note: With both groov EPIC and groov RIO, you can use either Ignition 8 or Ignition Edge 8 on a trial basis for two hours at a time, and you can restart the trial as often as you want. This license removes the time limit for Ignition Edge. If you are using full Ignition, not Ignition Edge, you need a different license. Contact us for more information.

You need this license if you are using Ignition Edge version 8 to:

• Connect to PLCs via Ignition Edge OPC UA drivers (limited to 2 device drivers)
• Transmit Sparkplug B payloads via the Ignition Edge MQTT Transmission module
• Allow access to Ignition's OPC UA Server from external sources

If you are using a groov EPIC processor PR1 (GRV-EPIC-PR1) with Ignition Edge version 7, you'll need to use the Ignition Edge version 7 license (GROOV-LIC-EDGE).

NOTE: When activating your groov product, activate the groov EPIC processor, and then activate GROOV-LIC-EDGE8.
